It’s a big time for rising Brazilian star, Endrick. Having signed a future deal with Real Madrid, the current Palmeiras star made his debut for the national team, and it now looks like he’s signed a long term deal with New Balance, a move signalled with what looks to be a golden signature edition Tekela v4.

At just 17 years and 118 days old, Endrick became the fourth-youngest player to play for Brazil, and the youngest for 57 years when he came onto the pitch in the match against Colombia. It was likely a defining step in the young man’s career, and it was one that he took with whiteout New Balance boots on his feet. Now, with another game against Argentina upcoming and another possible appearance for the Seleção on the cards, it looks as though Endrick has potentially signed for the American brand, a move that’s been signalled by the presence of a golden pair of Tekela v4 on the youngster’s feet in training.

Reports suggest that Endrick has signed a new long-term contract with New Balance, one that will last until 2028. It’s no surprise to learn that the striker also had the option of signing with other brands including Nike, adidas and PUMA, but the suggestion is that he signed with New Balance as he and his family like the idea that he will be positioned as one of the brand’s main assets in the future.

New Balance have been quick to provide several of their key athletes with signature boots in recent years, something other brands only tend to do for their absolute top tier players. And it looks like Endrick already has his first signature style, lacing up in a pair of golden Tekela v4 boots in training, with rumours that he will be wearing them against Argentina, if he gets on the pitch – something that is more likely given the recent injury to his soon-to-be teammate, Vinicius Jr.

The move to New Balance follows the news that Real Madrid have an agreement with Palmeiras, Endrick, and his family, to sign the player when he turns 18 years old in July 2024. All round, it’s a defining moment in time for the player.

Another New Balance athlete to benefit from the signature treatment is Harvey Elliott, and Endrick was also spotted lacing up in a pair of the Liverpool midfielder's recent Tekela’s in a training session, likely getting a feel for the silo and also a taste of what’s possible from the brand’s design team.

*UPDATE*

As expected, Endrick debuted his golden New Balance Tekela boots in the heated 2026 World Cup qualifier between Brazil and Argentina when he came off the bench for Raphinha with 20 minutes left in the match.
