City striker laces up in whiteout boot against Sunderland
Sergio Aguero slipped into an all white prototype PUMA boot as he was forced off through injury in Manchester City's 2-2 draw with Sunderland on Wednesday night.
We've already seen Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla training in what appears to be the next generation PUMA evoSPEED boot but Aguero went one step further last night as he took the same boots out for a competitive test drive.
Aguero slips on his new boots only to discover that king of bantz Jimmy Milner has filled them with pins.
On closer inspection it looks as if Aguero was wearing the synthetic editions of the boot whereas Cazorla's prototypes were clearly the leather versions of the unreleased third generation evoSPEED.
PUMA lean heavily on Aguero when it comes to testing new boots and seeking feedback, the Argentinian has previously worn Camo versions of the evoSPEED 1 and evoSPEED 1.2. The on-pitch test phase indicates that the full launch isn't too far away.
