SPORTING KANSAS CITY MIDFIELDER JIMMY MEDRANDA GAVE US A SNEAK PREVIEW OF THE NEXT-GENERATION ADIDAS NITROCHARGE.
The second-generation adidas Nitrocharge isn’t far away and thanks to Sporting Kansas City midfielder Jimmy Medranda, we’ve been given an early on-pitch look at the new boots. Medranda laced up in the new adidas Nitrocharge football boots for his sides fixture against Manchester City, wearing the bright orange launch colourway of the Nitrocharge mark II as his side suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Premier League champions.
The redesigned adidas Nitrocharge will launch this August ahead of the 2014/15 season. An enlarged and remodelled EnergySling has been evolved to cover a larger surface area further towards the mid-foot of the boot for increased energy return. More tech info will be released when the boots are officially revealed next month.
A long list of professional players including Steven Gerrard, Dani Alves, Javi Martinez and David Silva have flirted with the Nitrocharge since its launch, but with few settling on the silo the identity of the boot remains somewhat unresolved. From the look of Jimmy Medranda’s boots, the next generation Nitrocharge is certainly one to look forward to.
