Aaron Ramsey trains in a pair of unidentified white-out football boots at Arsenal's London Colney Training Ground ahead of their Champions League trip to Anderlecht.
Aaron Ramsey returned from injury against Hull on Saturday wearing a blacked-out pair of Nike Tiempo Legend V boots signalling his contract with adidas has expired and now speculation has taken a new twist as the Welshman is spotted in a mystery pair of whiteout boots on the training ground.
As much as Ramsey's boots look like a Nike HyperVenom we're not so sure that's the case. The recognisable upper instantly triggers similarities with Nike's HyperVenom or possibly a second generation of the boot but we're under the impression that it's not that straight forward. One thing we do know is that Ramsey's days with adidas are over and with adidas out of the equation the Arsenal midfielder's whiteout boots are believed to be something new, something that won't feature a Swoosh or Three Stripes.
The contenders? PUMA have already reeled in numerous Arsenal players since they took over kit duties at the Emirates and it would be naive to rule out Warrior who could well be looking to bolster their ranks ahead of switching to the New Balance brand in 2015.
With Ramsey being a free agent in the boot game our money says that he's signed a deal with an unidentified brand that have hooked him up with a concept boot, which is set to be revealed soon. New player, new boot, we wouldn't rule out that whoever is behind the whiteouts could well unveil them at the same time as they announce the capture of a certain Arsenal player.
