Gareth Bale was training in a blacked-out version of the 2015 adidas F50 adizero ahead of Real Madrid's trip to Almeria on Friday night.
As the new year approaches adidas have upped the testing phase on the new speed boot by handing out a pair to the Real Madrid winger. Luis Suarez and Liverpool's Alberto Moreno have already put the lightweight silo through its paces and now Bale is becoming accustomed to his new footwear ahead of switching into the boot next year.
adidas have reworked their F50 silo for the sixth time by dropping a boot that features a single, one-piece upper designed with an all over scale-like pattern, which could pave the way for some interesting colourways. A cleaner looking edition than the current adizero is created by the removal of the rear-foot SpeedFoil material that was used on the early editions.
Bale's black-out boots show no signs of the F50's trademark Sprint Frame technology on the heel counter as adidas shake-up the silo with an entirely new outsole. The new F50 is set to debut as adidas' opening boot of 2015 before they release details on new silhouettes that have been seen on the feet of Xabi Alonso and Thomas Muller.
