Robert Lewandowski becomes the first player to test out the next-generation Hypervenom II as Nike hook the Bayern Munich striker up with a blacked-out pair of prototypes.
Robert Lewandwoski has confirmed where the future of the Nike Hypervenom silo lies and it's a move many of us saw coming. Nike are standing by their Dynamic Fit Collar concept, so much so that they're bringing it to the upcoming Nike Hypervenom II. Nike will equip three-quarters of their top-tier boot stable with the innovative Flyknit collar, with the Nike Hypervenom II joining the Magista Obra and Mercurial Superfly IV. 
The Polish striker was spotted testing his prototype Nike Hypervenom II boots at Bayern Munich's winter training camp in Doha, Qatar. Bayern's mid-season break is always one to watch out for; last year Xherdan Shaqiri, Mario Gotze, Franck Ribery and Mario Mandžukic were all spotted testing the Nike Mercurial Superfly IV prototype in Doha.
The upper of the Nike Hypervenom II seemingly features a synthetic, one-piece material with Nike Flywire built in for improved stability. There are no signs of Nike's Flyknit technology on the upper, but a new stitching pattern is prominent on the forefoot area as Nike bring their most advanced boot technology to a silo that has so far remained untouched since its launch in 2013.
The next-generation Nike Hypervenom II isn't expected to land until the back end of the season, but for players anxious about the new high-collared silhouette, Nike will no doubt have plans for a low-cut version too. The Hypervenom silo launched in the Summer of 2013 and two years on Nike finally look to be getting closer to launching an updated version of their 'attack silo', fronted by players including Robert Lewandowski and Neymar.
