Having worked with the likes of LA Galaxy and illustrated kits and boots from all over the world, the latest collaboration from the world of The Lime Bath, sees him capture the retro-inspired adidas away shirt that was worn in the final of the FA Cup.
Re-creating Bryan Robson's famous Manchester United shirt that was worn in the same match up some 26 years earlier in 1990, it shows the differences between the kits back then in relation to now. As well as the shirt, his boots have also been re-styled in illustrative fashion.
Similarly, the adidas Mercury Pack also gets a serving or re-imagined design. 2D glory with a sharp finish, the boots look unanimously strong as does the kit. It's a series of images that champions a perfect delivery that embraces minimalist styling. Damn cool and a kit well worthy of an FA Cup win, it's another decent collaboration that blends football and its creative core with ease.
Another look at illustrations from The Lime Bath is advised.
