Enlisted to create a series of animations that introduce the Copa America, designer Holke79 produced these branded pieces for Movistar+ that would tee up fixtures before broadcast.

Tweaked fonts and an evocative style, it blends stars and stripes with an illustrated game to produce typography that matches the character of those names that have been spelt out.

His role was to map out the concept for the video above as well as style the design and animation of the piece while creative and art direction was lead by Ricardo Fernández, Iñaki Marticorena. It's a playful introduction with a unique visual aesthetic. Personifying the tournament with taste, it's nicely done.
