Designing 32 World Cup inspired posters is no mean feat. Hitting a sweet spot with each one however, that's a whole new level of creative good. Bringing a graphic design element to the game, illustrator Tom Anders Watkins spent the 32 days leading up to the 2018 tournament designing a bespoke poster for each team taking part. The delivery is as sweet as a JLingz finish.

Adding to the flavour, each of the posters is inspired by a chant of the respective nation. Tom describes the project in saying, "Some chants are simple, some ridiculous but all add to the rich tapestry that makes the World Cup such a spectacle." When art and football meet, it's a common ground for creative interests. When the execution and idea are on point too, that's when it hits a sweet spot.

Every team has been considered with this collection and while they're produced bespoke for those teams in this 2018 instalment of the tournament, it's a huge offering that will hit a chord with a fan from each country. From Nigeria through to Panama, it's got it all.

This series of designs is a strong way to personify the sentiment of a tournament that has packed in so many surprises. Huge and hitting the mark, you can see more from Tom Anders Watkins here.
