Swedish side BK Häcken are an eclectic club of diverse appreciation. On the rise and gaining momentum with a new stadium in the offing, the club leant to the design world to add some further character to the Bravida Arena.
Nils Gustafsson created these concepts that are washed with beautiful typography and paint buckets of inspired style. Nils describes the objective behind the project; "BK Häcken wanted something special for their newly built arena, that captured the diversity of their team and the island in Gothenburg where they reside at. The kiosks around the arena each got a themed front inspired by different parts of the world and the away supporters kiosk even got a design where the name and colours changed depending on the visiting team."
Triumphant work with genuine touches, a sign of a club that champions free-thinking. You can see more about the stadium as well as the club here. Always good to head to Scandinavia for a bit of cultured love of the most beautiful of games.
