Following on from his recent Givenchy x Inter Milan concept jerseys Italian graphic designer Federico Maccapani is at it again by creating more concept design collaborations for eight more of the biggest clubs in European football.
Maccapani has merged the world's of high-end fashion and football replica to create a superb collection of concept football shirts that put the standard template designs we see nowadays to shame. The eight clubs Maccapani has featured are PSG & Roma (Givenchy), Real Madrid & Chelsea (Raf Simons), Arsenal (Alexander McQueen,) Napoli (Valentino), Palermo (Dolce & Gabana) and Juventus (Missoni).
Along with the concept Inter Milan shirts the entire project from mbroidered demonstrates the potential of football shirt design when the limitations and boundaries are removed. It's like a cooler, more modernised version of the tragically beautiful jerseys of the 80's and 90's.
