Paying tribute to a rock and roll pioneer of football, Pickles Magazine has returned with its latest instalment. Issue 14 is covered by Johan Cruyff; a maverick and ringleader who brought an entirely new dimension to the game.
Pickles is a 96 page magazine that drops in with its own fitting style. Combining art and football and the culture that resides in between, it's a cultured serving with an edge of style and substance. Describing the issue, the good people of Pickles explain: "In this bumper issue we interview Doncaster Rover’s Alex Kiwomya as he returns from a career threatening health condition and gets back to scoring ways, we look at the impact of VAR, the fall and rise of Parma and we journeyed to Uruguay to take in one of the oldest and most fiercely fought football rivalries, the Uruguayan Clásico. And as it’s our fourteenth issue, it seemed only right that we honour the greatest number 14 of all-time… Of course we’re talking about Johan Cruyff."
