London based studio Tottenham Textiles have teamed up with Nike Football for an exclusive series of one-off custom England Women jerseys at the capital's flagship NikeTown store. Celebrating the run-up to the 2019 Women's World Cup in the most unique of creative styles.
Tottenham Textiles focuses on textile based product design & sampling by ripping up the rulebooks of typical jersey design and mashing it back together with signature flair. Having previously collaborated on the stunning Hackney Wick FC kits, the studio have a serious reputation of asking "why not?" when others are asking why. To send the girls off to France this summer, they partnered up with Nike to create bespoke jerseys for the likes of Fran Kirby, Toni Duggan, Steph Houghton and Lucy Bronze.
Taking the two Nike England home and away jerseys which will be worn at the tournament this summer, Tottenham Textiles came armed with fabric tapes, zippers, badges, patches, slogans and scissors as they went to work on the uniform of the Lionesses. The results are intriguingly exquisite and they'll be on display at NikeTown London for the next couple of weeks. The only thing wrong with them? They're not available to buy.
Yeah you'll probably want to follow them on Instagram to see what else they get up to...
