Taking the next step in their mission to blur the lines between football and fashion, Lover’s FC have arrived in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, creating a digital world of all things Lover’s Football Club.
Founded by uber kit Connoisseur, Creative Consultant and Pop Culture Historian Neal Heard, Lover’s FC has fast established itself as a place where football and streetwear collide through some top-draw clothing collections and collaborations. The brand come club was established to create the football shirts of our dreams, paying homage to the great designs while adding a fashion edge, and now it gets to venture out on pitch…. Well, sort of anyway, thanks to a hook up with FIFA 23.
In FIFA’s Ultimate Team mode you can now choose to play in two glorious kits, in a lover’s tifo bedecked stadium with an official Lover’s ball and even lift the Lover’s trophy! What makes the collaboration even more special is this one even allows the digital clothing game to cross over with the real world. The Lover’s FC revered Leopard skin jerseys are now also available in game in the digital world...
“As longtime players of FIFA, this has to be one of our favourite collaborations yet," Heard explained. "The worlds of football and streetwear are forever intertwining and this goes for the digital arena too. Seeing a Lover’s FC stadium, Tifo’s and all come to life whilst having the ability to get your hands physically on one of three new jerseys which also exist in the FUT space is something that – using football cliche parlance – we’re over the moon with.’’
The Lover's FC collection will be available in FUT for six weeks, and you can buy the leopard print home shirt from the Lovers FC online store.
