The places we go to watch football are truly symbolic. The words 'Football Stadium' are not nearly enough to capture the spirit and memories that are created in such a destination. Barry Masterson has captured Dalymount Park, home of Bohemians FC in a way truly poetic to the game so washed in elation.
Dalymount Park was once a national stadium, it is a landmark that although looks tired, is very much alive - treasured by fans of Dublin based Bohemians FC it is as romantic as they come. Despite the weary looking seats and un-hinged signs, this concrete slab of football is in every sense beautiful for the like-minded lover of football. Eyes out for the hand painted 'Gents' sign. Clearly a club where everyone chips in, Barry Masterson has got well and truly under the hood to showcase this battle ground in untouched fashion.
