Framed #21 | Liverpool v Barcelona

A tropic thunder fixture. This match up saw scenes more akin to Spain than England as Wembley played host for the latest International Champions Cup game. Rolling out the deck chairs in the hope for the traditional t-shirt sun tan, it was Liverpool that basked in the Barcelona sun while the catalan giants were left in the cold.

Our latest 'Framed' feature shot by Elliott Wilcox, was the perfect curtain raiser and Wembley warm up for the Community Shield. A game that saw Liverpool take Barcelona to church and back wheeling away as winners with a margin of four goals, it made for glorious viewing. A scoreline that is emphatically foreign to the football powerhouse that is Barcelona, talk about a kicking.

Some description

A confidence booster for those on Merseyside ahead of the impending 2016/17 season, we now 100% expect Liverpool to not concede until November and have the league sewn up by February. Impossible of course, but it does put fire in the belly for what should be a title that's there for the taking. It was also the second largest attendance at the new Wembley. What a way to welcome fresh football.
