The Den, home to Millwall football club and in turn Millwall Lionesses, is where our latest 'Framed' feature lands on the shoulder of Photographer Joshua Smith. Covering our first WSL2 game too, this series of images journeys behind the scenes where the sound of studs crunch across the concrete of the players tunnel and lands pitch side for a match up with Sheffield FC Ladies.
Capturing the action from the second tier of women's football in England, we joined this match at the traditional business end of the fixture list. It's another look at match day photography that delivers the spirit of football in a ground that is iconic for its raw character.
