LAFC | An Exclusive Look Inside 'The Banc of California Stadium'

With just five months before LAFC play their first MLS game, the dream is very much becoming a reality. Getting an exclusive insight into the black and gold metropolis that is being created on the West Coast, we take a early look inside the Banc of California Stadium.

The journey and rise of LAFC before even kicking a ball is a monumental one. Creating a football scene as well as an emphatic fan base, the club already has a unique character and culture - and all before studs have touched the turf. Making serious strides towards that opening fixture of the 2018 MLS season, the countdown is well and truly on and with this 22,000 capacity powerhouse providing a place to call home, the curtain raiser is just around the bend.

The structure of the stadium is defined by countless unique features. The first open air stadium built in Los Angeles since 1962, it's a fresh chapter in the landscapes impressive history and while easily accessible, it has been designed with the fan experience very much at the heart of proceedings. For example, the closest seats are twelve feet from the touchline and to provide an ultimate viewing experience that not only keeps the atmosphere inside the stadium but it makes for a unanimously strong line of sight across the pitch.

A snippet of what is to come, the Banc of California Stadium is perhaps the most visually striking way that shows the progression of LAFC. Several years in the making and now ready to take flight in a fledgling MLS season, 2018 is looking ever closer. The '17 season may well have just wrapped though for all those involved in LAFC, it's the beginning of the future.
