Framed #140 | Corinthians v Gremio

Brazilian giants Corinthians are currently languishing in mid-table following a raft of mediocre results that are below what the huge fanbase demands. As they welcomed Gremio to the Corinthians Arena, we decided to see if they could turn their fortunes around or if we were in for another upset. Yep, Corinthians v Gremio is episode 140 in our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #139 | LA Galaxy v NYCFC

LA Galaxy’s perfect home form so far this season was put to the test when the in-form New York City FC came to Dignity Health Sports Park from the Eastern Conference, looking to build on their six game unbeaten streak. Would Zlatan take a bite out of the Big Apple? We took our seats for the next instalment in our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #138 | Man City WFC v West Ham WFC

There’s no doubt about the impressive growth of the women’s game in recent years, and it was typified in the FA Cup final, which saw Manchester City taking on underdogs West Ham in front of a huge crowd at Wembley Stadium. Lapping up the atmosphere on the bank holiday weekend, we took our seats for the match, which was the latest in our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #137 | Rennes v PSG

Heading into the Coupe de France final, you’d have been hard pushed to find many people backing Stade Rennais for an upset against a star-studded PSG side, defending the cup for the fourth consecutive season. But football’s a funny old game; anything can, and invariably does, happen, but that’s why we love it. Therefore we had to be at Stade de France for the next episode in our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #136 | Manchester United v Manchester City

Watched with as much interest from title-chasing Liverpool fans as either set of supporters from the city itself, the second Manchester Derby of the season carried with it the added weight of being a potential title decider. Couldn’t be anywhere else but Old Trafford for the 136th instalment in our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #135 | Juventus v Ajax

Check the script, this was not how it was supposed to play out… Turin was on tenterhooks for a night when Juventus were expected to progress to the semi final of the Champions League. But their youthful opponents, Ajax, had other ideas. This was one we couldn’t miss and it didn’t disappoint as the latest fixture in our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #134 | USWNT v Belgium

World Cup preparations continued for the USWNT with the next game in their so-called "Countdown to the Cup" fixture list. Playing for the first time at the Banc of California, it was also the first time that they had faced Belgium, and they were looking to continue their recent up turn in form. We got comfortable in the Golden State for the latest stop off in our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #133 | USWNT v Australia

This may have been billed as a friendly, but in the build up to the Women’s World Cup, USWNT v Australia – two of the tournament favourites – is more of a test of credentials, and it was one that we just had to see. We took our seats at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for the next instalment of our ‘Framed’ Series. Morgan v Kerr? Yes please and thank you…

Framed #132 | AIK v Östersund

There were a few things that we already knew about Swedish Champions AIK before arriving in Stockholm for their first home game the 2019/20 season. We knew that they make some stunning football shirts, they know how to celebrate a title, and that they absolutely love a flare or 5,000. All the key ingredients for another atmospheric 'Framed' dish.

Framed #131 | Spurs vs Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur are home. Just under two years ago Spurs fans were waving goodbye to White Hart Lane with bags packed for Wembley, but last night, on the same land as that famous old stadium once stood, the club welcomed in a new era as they hosted their first fixture at the new colossal, state-of-the-art, £1b stadium.

Framed #130 | Switzerland v Denmark

Who said the international break is boring? Not this time. Not in Switzerland, anyway. The Swiss didn't give the Danes the warmest of welcomes to Basel for the EURO 2020 qualifier after they stormed into a 3-0 lead at St. Jakob-Park but Denmark battled back to earn a dramatic point in a pulsating climax.

Framed #128 | Club America v Atlas

Tour Águila 2019 got underway with an absolute belter between current Liga MX champions, Club América, and rivals Club Atlas of Guadalajara, hosted at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, home of LA Galaxy. Submerged in a sea of yellow smoke, it's a backdrop worthy of the next instalment of our ‘Framed’ series.

Design Photography

Framed #129 | Mexico v Chile

The SDCCU Stadium in San Diego oversaw the dawn of the new era as Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino took the helm of Mexico for the first time for a friendly international against Chile on American soil. With the Mexicans desperate for a good result, this match had all the ingredients to make it the next instalment of our ‘Framed’ series.

Design Photography

Framed #127 | Australia Women v Argentina Women

Preparation for the Women’s World Cup gathers pace, and with the inaugural Cup of Nations reaching its climax with Australia Women taking on Argentina Women in the last game of the tournament, we headed to AAMI Park, Melbourne for the next stop in our ‘Framed’ series.

Design Photography

Framed #126 | Bologna v Juventus

Ambitions at opposite ends of the table were in focus at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, as relegation-battling Bologna entertained table-topping Juventus. But this was not the all-conquering Old Lady that the world has been used to in recent months; this was an injured and potentially vulnerable beast. Needless to say, under the watchful gaze of the historic Marathon Tower this was the next stop in our ‘Framed’ series.

Design Photography

Framed #125 | Kaizer Chiefs v Orlando Pirates

In an impressive stadium packed to the absolute rafters with vibrant colours and pulsing with pride aplenty, fans gathered for a derby like few others in the world. This was the Soweto derby, which saw rivals Kaizer Chiefs taking on Orlando Pirates at Soccer City. And it just had to be the next entry in our ‘Framed’ series.
