A party palace for the colourful game, the BBVA Compass Stadium is a vocal all-singing stadium purely for football. A 22,000 seater stadium that opened in 2012, it is one for the fresh thinking. As quirky as they come too, it's a flavoursome addition to the world of football architecture as it defies convention all over.
A geometric cage that covers the stadium, from the outside just as much inside, it's a glorious footballing feast. Atmosphere rising, we teamed up with Christian Gideon, just ahead of kick off against LA Galaxy to bring this hexagonal hero of design to the fore.
