Continuing the behind the scenes look at the raw beauty and aura that surrounds a football stadium, our next residence comes from Griffin Park. Those floodlights that welcome you in to the West of London, it's the home of Brentford FC.
People say 'that's a proper ground' and people are right. This tired yet beautiful corrigated miniplex of football traditions is a feast upon the eyes. Home to Championship side Brentford, it's floodlights stand tall against a backdrop of the capital of London.
A pub on each corner of the ground, it's a place of unique proportions - terracing remains as plans are worked on behind the scenes with the club moving down the road to a swanky new number in the not too distant future. Wooden floorboards, hostile away dressing rooms and an all round, photogenic scenes of brilliance washes this pokey palace.
The pitch itself in immaculate condition having been relayed at the start of the season, there are several places of note around the stadium including a recent addition of the family area while terracing remains at each end - concrete dreams. This stadium played host to our feature on Gary Aspden and the adidas Originals SPEZIAL collection that you can see in Issue 4 of the SoccerBible Magazine.
