Residence #61 | 'Stade Geoffroy-Guichard' Saint-Etienne

When the host cities were announced for EURO 2016 there was one ground in particular that stuck out for England fans. Saint-Etienne is a home from home for the Three Lions. Inspired by British stadia, the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard is a nostalgic cauldron of noise, a terraced treasure. The home of Michael Owen's France '98 wondergoal against Argentina. The home of ecstasy. The home of devastating heartache.

Framed #185: DC United v Inter Miami

David Beckham’s new MLS franchise, Inter Miami didn’t get off to the dream start that the former England skipper would’ve been hoping for in their 2020 season opener against LAFC, so could things get any better for their second fixture? We headed to Audi Field to find out, as Inter Miami stayed on the road for their match against a Wayne Rooney-less DC United.

Framed #184: Sheffield Wednesday v Manchester City

Manchester City, current kings of the domestic cup competition, faced a tough trip to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday in the fifth round of their FA Cup title defence, and for our ‘Framed’ series we took the trip to see if Sergio Aguero et al could do it on a wet and windy Wednesday in Sheffield.

Framed #183: Nashville SC v Atlanta United

As one of the two new franchises to join MLS in 2020, Nashville SC’s introduction has been somewhat overshadowed by the hype surrounding Mr Beckham and his Inter Miami. So we headed stateside to get a taste of the action at the Nissan Stadium, making Nashville’s MLS debut against Atlanta United the focus of the latest instalment of our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #182: Chelsea v Spurs

It was a case of master versus apprentice this week as Jose Mourinho once again returned to Stamford Bridge, this time at the helm of London-rivals Tottenham Hotspur as they took on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea. A capital city derby with an added subplot made this one that we just had to watch.

Framed #180: Brentford v Leicester City

Capping off a fine hat-trick of ‘Framed’ instalments from the Third Round of the FA Cup and still waiting for a proper upset, we headed to the Emirates Stadium to see Premier League side Arsenal taking on Championship front-runners, Leeds United.

Framed #178: Liverpool v Everton

For the second part of an FA Cup Third Round ‘Framed’ triple header, we headed to Anfield to see if Everton could finally put an end to a 20-year winless streak at the home of their Merseyside rivals, an unhappy record which dates all the way back to the 1999/00 campaign.

Design Photography
