ON A PLATE Atlanta: A Feast Of Fashion With adidas Fútbol Society

This past weekend, SoccerBible’s ON A PLATE series, in collaboration with adidas Football and the adidas Fútbol Society, landed in Atlanta, delivering an unforgettable fusion of soccer and style.

Set against the nostalgic backdrop of The Majestic Diner, the latest instalment in our ON A PLATE series took us to Atlanta, celebrating the latest MLS jerseys for the 2025 season through an exclusive runway show, blending the world of football with the innovation of fashion.

Pushing the boundaries of where soccer culture meets high fashion, ON A PLATE Atlanta was a testament to the power of creativity. Each look was meticulously designed, featuring upcycled, stitched, and tailored details that paid homage to the evolution of Major League Soccer. Spanning from 1995 to the present, the collection showcased 30 jerseys from all 30 clubs, each crafted to tell a distinct, year-driven narrative that reflected the league’s journey over the last three decades.

Beyond aesthetics, this project was a deep dive into research and authenticity. Every element of each piece was carefully considered, ensuring that the integrity of the jerseys remained intact while reimagining them for the runway. The results were bold, innovative, and truly representative of how football fashion continues to evolve.

Choosing The Majestic Diner as the venue was no coincidence. An iconic local institution, it served as the perfect meeting point between Atlanta’s past and present—a city known for its deep cultural roots and undeniable creative energy. By embedding this event within the local fabric of Atlanta, ON A PLATE was more than just a showcase; it was a celebration of the city itself.

Central to this experience was the gathering of 40 Atlanta-based creatives, each a leader in their respective fields, embodying the artistic spirit that defines the city. Models, stylists, designers, musicians, and visual artists all came together to champion the fusion of football and fashion, reinforcing Atlanta’s status as a hub of innovation and expression.

With ON A PLATE, the mission is always bigger than the event itself. It’s about making a lasting contribution to the scene—creating moments that champion lifestyle, creativity, and culture in a way that extends beyond the sport. This is football as a movement, as an identity, and as a platform for storytelling.

The immersive nature of ON A PLATE Atlanta extended beyond the garments on display. Subtle yet significant details transformed The Majestic Diner into a seamless extension of the adidas Fútbol Society. Custom elements embedded into the space wove football’s influence into the heart of the venue, ensuring that the spirit of the game was present in every corner.

Adding another layer of artistry to the event was a bespoke track, crafted specifically for the runway show. The music underscored the energy and emotion of the night, amplifying the synergy between movement and design as each model took to the diner-turned-catwalk.

At its core, ON A PLATE Atlanta was an off-pitch celebration of football culture, using fashion as a medium to explore the game’s ongoing influence beyond the field. With the new MLS season getting underway, this event set the tone for what’s to come—not just in terms of style, but in how football continues to shape and be shaped by the creative communities that embrace it.

ON A PLATE isn’t just about showcasing football’s impact—it’s about amplifying it. In a city as dynamic as Atlanta, with a legacy as rich as Major League Soccer’s, this event proved that football is more than just a game. It’s a statement, a canvas, and a force for creativity.

As the night drew to a close and the lights dimmed over The Majestic Diner, what remained was a sense of something bigger than fashion or football alone. This was a moment of culture, community, and connection—an experience that will continue to inspire long after the last model stepped off the runway. From there our crowd headed to the remarkable Mercedes Benz stadium for more fireworks. Atlanta United winning their home opener, that successful start of the season, reflective of this shift that goes in to creating a runway show with 30 bespoke looks.

Stay tuned as we’ll dig into the inspiration of each look over the coming days.
