Fred Perry Nigel Cabourn Collection

Described as 'a collection inspired by the moment the worlds of football and tennis collided', the brand's latest Nigel Cabourn collaboration recognises Fred Perry's time spent training with Arsenal Football Club.

A second collection produced by designer Nigel Cabourn that went on a journey deep into the Fred Perry archives to find its inspiration. In searching, Nigel discovered photographs of Fred Perry training with a Arsenal Football Club in 1936; the year in which Fred went on to win the David Cup, his third Wimbledon and redefine the discipline of tennis. It's a remarkable tale that crosses the football path.

Some description

The collection, that includes the 1952 Pique Shirt, 1953 Training Jacket, Goalkeeper' Jumper and Stadium Coat, pays homage to the layered-up training kits of the 1930-50s, and is finished with Nigel's own uncompromising eye for detail. Simply, beautiful. A re-imagined look at terrace culture.

Fancy upping your terrace game? This way then.
