The Ringleaders and Chinatown Soccer Club - two collective groups of football appreciators. Like minded folk from creative industries have collaborated to create a limited collection. A lovely dollop of tongue in cheek, the photos are tremendous.
Based in Montreal and New York respectively, this collection has been produced to mark what has been named the La Coupe Des Coupes - a match up between the sides that is into its second installment. Taking a 90s school photo approach, it's those back drops that steal the show. The collection includes a selection of t-shirts as well as a rather smart windbreaker. No intention of making a pile of cash, more the love of collaboration and celebrating football and it's power to bring those of shared interests together.
The ties between CSC and RFC run deep, stretching back to RFC’s inaugural 2006 season, when the young squad made the trek down to New York. Since then, RFC has made annual trips down to Manhattan for the CSC Invitational, forging a tight bond with CSC, as well as with London's own Soho Warriors and Vancouver's Gastown FC, hailing from London and Vancouver, respectively. All 4 squads have deep ties to their own creative communities locally. The RFC x CSC capsule collection was created entirely by the players - from the photography, to the designs and the model.
