Zip up, headphones in. adidas Athletics has revealed its latest offering, the Z.N.E. Travel hoodie. A pre-match piece designed to help athletes find focus, remove distractions and maximise their preparation on the move.
Focusing on those long away days on the coach or air travel, adidas have launched the Z.N.E. Travel Hoodie for players to keep comfortable both physically and mentally in the hours before action. Since its launch in September, over 18,000 athletes worldwide have been equipped with the first edition of the Z.N.E hoodie. And that's now evolved into this Travel version, with new features making it the travel companion for competition.
Features include an oversized hood to block out noise and allow for sleep and relaxation when travelling, and the comfort of the original Z.N.E has been reengineered in softer fabric for travel on the road. Built into this premium, heavyweight cotton/polyester/elastane blend are also a series of easy-access hidden pockets.
Expect to see it on the athletic frames of a number of adidas professionals across all sports including, as featured here, Gareth Bale, Demarai Gray and Nathan Redmond. We'll let adidas have the last words: “It’s crucial that athletes are able to switch off and focus on the competition ahead or reflect on their performance when they travel, and so we have worked with athletes to design a range that meets these needs.” This ain't just a hoodie, is it?
