Marking the occasion like that robust centre back who dons white-out boots and gets their goal tally into double figures, designer ELDEJO has upcycled some woven memorabilia to create this vest well worthy of a European Championship final.
Reversible no less, this bespoke project from ELDEJO was something that was designed with victory in the final very much in mind alas, that wasn't meant to be. As one tournament ends, this vest lives on one more day.
Made up of a raft of French football scarves from his personal collection, the scarves have been sewn together to form the french flag while the other side of the vest is that of the majestic shirt pattern that was used in 1984 and 1998.
Not a garment tailored for everybody but certainly for the hardened fan. This goes further than showing your heart on your sleeve, an outpouring of emotions, memories captured in every scarf - it brings together years of support, woven into the seams. A beautiful one off product and the man, a curator of cultured shapes, you can see more from ELDEJO here.
