A creation of custom threads in collaboration with adidas Football and Chain Gang L.A., we take another look at this one off Argentina Anthem Jacket created at the Los Angeles Mercury Centre, modelled here by Florencia Galarza.
Masters of chain stitch embroidery, Chain Gang L.A. set up shop at the adidas Mercury Centre in Los Angles earlier this month, bringing their own creative spin to proceedings. Bringing staple adidas pieces to life by hand on machines that date back to the 1800s, the old school method of chain stitch embroidery ― traditionally seen on varsity jackets ― gives extreme attention to detail and guaranteed personalisation. A masterstroke of custom design.
The result here is an adidas track jacket that's symbolic of the swell that has come from custom culture, with a gold 'SB' across the chest and a special SoccerBible graphic stealing the show on the back. Creating and making all day long, it's about keeping the game going when those 90 minutes end and taking the game to fresh places. Lets make more.
Big shout out to adidas and Chain Gang L.A. for the hook-up. Delightful.
