Never afraid to show their appreciation for the game through football inspired threads, Patta have teamed up with the Double Diamond for a bespoke collaboration. A special paired release, it see's both brands brilliantly collide as Patta pay homage to their hometown of Amsterdam.
Consisting of a home and complimenting away shirt, each style drops with retro shapes, pulling eye catching moves from collar to cuff. The first in the pairing is based on the 1989-1990 Ajax away shirt. Packed with geometric moves and a blue, red and white pinstripe combination, it's a real piece of archived gold, reworked for contemporary times. The reverse is emblazoned with a the number 14 (a tribute to Johan Cruyff), while the embroidered crest and sharp use of the 'Patta' sponsor across the middle of the front complete the look.
The second is taken from the 1993-94 Ajax season. Green and navy vertical stripes with accents of yellow help it pop in places few kit manufacturers would go to in today's game. The traditional collar with a lace up closer will weave through the heart and mind of anyone who loves a retro throwback. The Patta crest looks strong and the positioning of the sponsor is once more brilliantly unorthodox.
Both jerseys will go on sale through the Patta stores in London and Amsterdam from Friday 7th April.
