Quietly going about their business with effortless style and unspoken volumes of powerful charm, Umbro have teamed up with Copenhagen based menswear store Le Fix for a limited release, capsule collection.
Two brands working in harmony, Le Fix describe the collaboration poetically as a "refreshing insight that has been a dream for us...to work and study as we remember those days as an important milestone in our football obsession." Like many of us, the lasting memories of Umbro and their tailored dominance over the formative days of kit design will live forever. Though, finding their feet once more this release, along with several other interesting places the brand has turned of late, might be a marker of what is yet to come. Teaming up with House of Holland, Patta and now Le Fix - all very different, all very delicious.
The release itself includes a football shirt and shorts, a t-shirt, a track top and a special edition football that takes pride in displaying the collaboration logo. Distinguishing features run across all pieces and from woven tapes on the sleeves to flavoursome fabric patterns across the chest, there's plenty to catch the eye.
A strong take on minimalist gold with football running from seam to seam - there's everything to like about this link up. You can see more here.
