Gosha Rubchinskiy's SS18 collaboration with adidas launches this week as the collection takes inspiration from the city of Saint Petersburg. The collab between the Three Stripes and Gosha has reimagined the connection between football and lifestyle, and the new drop pushes more boundaries.
The spring/summer collection is influence by the former capital, Saint Petersburg, which brought football to Russia through the British ambassadors formally stationed there in the 19th century. The city also boasts a vibrant electronic music scene which crossed over from Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Now the rave culture themed collection starts to make sense, right?
Football jerseys are accompanied by twists on the latest adidas football footwear, including the Nemeziz silhouette, while the retro lifestyle and performance theme that flows through each Gosha capsule is forever unmistakable in those popping rave vibes.
