Justin Timberlake stepped out with backing for eventual World Cup Champions France for his show in Paris last week by wearing a collaborative PSG x Jordan jacket.
The collaboration between PSG and the Jordan brand has been floating around for some time now, going back to the reveal of an Air Jordan 5 sneaker to celebrate PSG's domestic treble last season. Whispers of a wider clothing collection became louder in Paris as Timberlake showcased a collaborative jacket with the Jumpman logo featuring on the PSG crest as he took to the stage on his "Man of the woods" tour.
Expected to launch ahead of the new 2018/19 season, the collaboration between Paris Saint-Germain and Jordan is another move in the Parisian's strategy of establishing themselves as the leading streetwear club in the world. A move that has seen them focus hard on their fashionable image with celebrity connections and lifestyle branding to carry the brand image onto a global scene.
There is no launch date as of yet for the collection, although we do know that the Air Jordan PSG 1 will drop in two colourways of black and navy blue, and the aforementioned Air Jordan PSG 5 that features club branding and "75" on the sole as a nod to the Paris zip code. Stay tuned for more...
