Paris Saint-Germain reveal the full results of their most recent streetwear collaboration. The dual-branded partnership with Japanese label BAPE sees the release of a 13-piece capsule collection arriving on another tide of Parisian hype as the club continue to ride on a wave of lifestyle link-ups
Earlier in the week PSG and BAPE teased a few statement pieces from the imminent drop, but now each and every piece from the capsule is laid out for a full reveal. Wrapped in the primary club colours of blue, red and white, the collaboration delivers a number of key BAPE classics re-worked with a PSG twist for a collection that will be high in demand.
The key pieces from the collection are the BAPE Long Down Jacket, which boasts co-branding on the front and PSG’s signature stripe on the rear. A duo of full-zip Shark Head hoodies borrow the same pattern, and a variety of tees which wrap up the clothing side of things. Accessory wise you're looking at a drawstring bag, fleece neck warmer, Shark motif mask and camo-print shorts.
PSG are making no secret of trying to gatecrash the fashion-scene, but they're doing it in a natural way that makes you kind of wish your club was pulling strings like this. PSG are paving the way for other clubs to punch into that space, knocking down the barriers of performance and lifestyle. It's a movement that's shifting with some power.
The full collection will drop at BAPE’s Paris store on Nov 29. Stay tuned to BAPE's online store for potential follow up releases.
