Giving us a sneak peek at his latest signature style, Paul Pogba arrived at Clairefontaine, the French national team training base, in some key pieces from the upcoming Season 5 of his collaborative efforts with adidas Football.
As far as icons go in the modern game, there are few that are as instantly recognisable off the pitch as they are on it, but Paul Pogba certainly fits into that category. And it’s this charisma and persona that adidas are only too happy to tap into as its successful partnership with the French World Cup winner gears up for its fifth season since its initial launch in January 2017.
Continuing where Season 4 left off last October, Season 5 sees Pogba’s unique style captured once more with some dark vibes that are accented with red popping throughout. This initial preview, seen as Pogba stepped out of his car on his arrival at Clairefontaine, France’s expansive footballing facility, gives us a look at a zip-up hoody and a pair of tracky trousers that will undoubtedly be the precursor to a new pair of Predators, and it can be assumed that they will follow in a similar colour scheme.
The most notable new addition to the collection seems to be a reinvented 'PP' logo, captured now within a circular design that features on the chest of the hoody and on the upper right leg of the track pants. As well as being snapped in his new garb while stepping out of his car, Pogba also shared a video as he dropped in on his old pal, Antoine Griezmann, who looked happy to see his compatriot.
