Having been a major player in French football for over 30 years, Nike takes on some vintage vibes for its latest release, the Nike F.C. Home Shirt, which comes in two distinct looks inspired by PSG’s shirt stylings from the mid 90s.
The Nike F.C. home shirt celebrates the Swoosh’s history in French football with some throwback style. Instantly conjuring images of PSG’s home kit from 1994-95, the first shirt features a red, white and blue colour scheme. Despite the retro feel of the template, the ‘glitch’ effect running down the centre of the shirt and both sleeves ties the design to the modern day. The words ‘La Victoire’ feature across the chest, further strengthening the Gaelic link, while ‘Nike F.C.’ takes pride of place front and centre.
For the second shirt, the official colouring is listed as "Guava Ice/White/Pacific Blue", and they are laid out in exactly the same format as with the first, glitch still in effect. Three stars are embroidered on the neck collar on each shirt , representing Nike’s three decades in French football.
