Using his creative flair for a good cause, Zach Moore, founder of Participation Trophy Studio, has created three one-of-a-kind USA mashup kits which he is planning on giving away in a raffle, with all proceeds going to ‘Color of Change’, the US’s largest online racial justice organisation.
Zach Moore is the founder of Participation Trophy Studio, a start-up creative studio focused on upcycled and unique soccer apparel. The last time we encountered his work was as part of the online workshop hosted by Calcetto Eleganza during lockdown, in which he created the quite stunning mix of a 2018 adidas Spain home jersey and a 2019/2020 Nike Barcelona away jersey. This Saturday (4 July – US Independence Day), he is unveiling a passion project that has seen him create three one-of-a-kind handmade USA mashup kits. The kits have since been shot at the national monuments in Washington DC, and now the plan is to raffle them off with the proceeds going straight to Colour for Change.
Color of Change is the nation’s largest online racial justice organisation which fights to challenge injustice, hold corporate and political leaders accountable, commission game-changing research on systems of inequality, and advance solutions for racial justice that can transform our world.
Each jersey contains pieces of 14 different USMNT and USWNT jerseys. The jerseys were created as the focal point of a charitable fundraising campaign, with a raffle giving the option for some lucky person to win the jersey of their choice. Raffle tickets are available for purchase for $10 through participationtrophystudio.com and 100 percent of the money raised will be donated to Color of Change.
The raffle will start this Saturday (4 July 2020) and it will close next Sunday (12:01am, 12 July ). The contest winner will be randomly selected once the raffle window has closed and the winner will be contacted directly to receive the jersey of their choosing.
Head to participationtrophystudio.com to get your raffle tickets.
