Lack of Guidance & LAW Magazine Pay Homage To Tony Yeboah

Lack of Guidance and London-based creative hub LAW magazine have joined forces to pay tribute to the “King of the Crossbar”, Tony Yeboah, with a special shirt based on the Leeds United look from the Ghanaian’s time with the Yorkshire club.

Following their hook up with Too Hot Limited last year, in which the pair paid homage to Italia ’90, Lack of Guidance are back in the footballing arena, and they’re going back to the 90’s, focusing on a cult hero for Leeds United from 1995-97. Yes, it’s none other than the scorer-of-spectacular-goals himself, Mr. Anthony Yeboah.

Yeboah earned his cult status plenty of memorable goals, chief among them were two absolute belters, one against Wimbledon and the other a stunning volley against Liverpool. His efforts were punctuated by the fact that he was the first and only player – other than Gareth Bale in 2013 – to win Goal of the Month in two successive months, doing so in September and October 1995. Although his spell at the club was ultimately short-lived, his impact transcended his club, and his name is well remembered across the nation.

In celebration of the striker and his unforgettable time in the Premier League, Lack of Guidance and LAW Magazine present ‘The Tony Yeboah Tribute Shirt’, which comes with a free pin badge, in case the shirt itself wasn’t enough to reel you in.

The Tony Yeboah tribute shirt will be available this Thursday, 11 February, from 12:00 [CET] through lackofguidance.com
