Set to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in style, Jameson have teamed up with Nowhere FC to create a a limited-edition collection of football shirts and accessories to mark St. Patrick’s Day 2021.
Doesn't matter if you're Irish, St. Patrick's Day is a celebration that's open to everyone, celebrated around the world, and that's the case now more than ever thanks to a collaboration between famous whisky company Jameson and FC Nowhere, who have come together to create a borderless collection for the festivities. The collection, featuring three distinct hand-dyed shirts, two bucket hats, a stadium and a supporter scarf, a bar towel and a pin badge, seamlessly blends the aesthetics and histories of both partners through the colours, style and motifs present on each design, symbolising the coming together of the Jameson and Nowhere FC communities as they join in with the St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
The short-sleeved home shirt features a modern ‘volt’ yellow base colour with three black horizontal accents (referencing the brand’s triple distillation process), with ‘Fly Nowhere’ on the chest and the Jameson logo on the right sleeve, both in black. The front of the shirt features a green and orange Nowhere FC crest and the Irish flag, with the dominant orange, green and black colorway repeated along the jacquard taping at the side of the jersey. On the back of the shirt these colours have been extended to the distinct Nowhere FC checkerboard graphic, which has been updated with the two stars and anchor from the Jameson logo.
The away shirt is long-sleeved, using a dark navy base colourway with three vertical neon green dye stripes. Like the home shirt, the away jersey features the Irish flag, Fly Nowhere and Jameson branding, this time in gold, with the Nowhere FC crest presented in dark green and burgundy. The shirt features black, green and burgundy taping along the sides and the Jameson crest on the back.
This shirt features a psychedelic magenta, dark purple, red-orange and neon yellow die-print that is a nod to the 1995/86 Republic of Ireland Goalkeeper jersey famously worn by national icon Patrick Bonner. The orange and green Nowhere FC crest is placed in the centre of the shirt with the Irish flag moved to the left sleeve. The Fly Nowhere and Jameson branding are again in gold, matching the ‘John Jameson & Sons’ signature and Est. 1780, the year that John Jameson founded his whiskey company, on the back of the shirt.
Each shirt features a bespoke Jameson and Nowhere FC patch on the front bottom right, and the lucky number 7 – a reference to the luck of the Irish. Free Jameson Nowhere FC stickers will also be included with every shirt purchase.
Inspired by football memorabilia, Jameson and NwFC have created a twist on traditional fan wear with a limited run of two co-branded scarves. The ‘Supporter scarf’ has a black base with orange and green accents used on the Nowhere FC, Jameson and Fly Nowhere branding. It also features graphics inspired by the taping from the Home and Away shirts. The ‘Stadium scarf’ has a green vase colourway with reverse ‘Nowhere’ branding in the center of both sides. Jameson and Nowhere FC logos and also featured in alternating colors across both sides of the scarf.
