Continuing their longstanding collaborative relationship, END. and adidas team up with Japanese streetwear stalwarts Neighborhood for their latest football-themed capsule, Neighbourhood F.C.
A melting pot of influences, the “Neighborhood F.C.” collection seamlessly blends British football culture with Neighborhood’s trademark design sensibilities – the perfect confluence of classic sporting aesthetics and the iconic Ura-Hara streetwear movement of Japan.
Taking influence from Tokyo’s hidden neighbourhoods, backstreets and subcultural cachet, END., adidas and Neighborhood deliver a plethora of football inspired garments, accessories and footwear that encapsulates the undeniable charm of the beautiful game and the striking look of Neighborhood’s trademark style.
Consisting of a duo of football kits – for home and away respectively – football jerseys and shorts are emblazoned with a trifecta of branding across the chest, while eye-catching leopard print patterns nod to Neighborhood’s history and legacy as cultural tastemakers. The legendary adidas Campus and Samba silhouettes – models synonymous with terrace culture – are also cast in the same leopard print design, transforming their classic football functionality into street-ready style brimming with Ura-Hara charisma. Complete with a supporters scarf and two footballs daubed in matching home and away colours, the “Neighborhood F.C.” collection runs rings around the competition, celebrating football culture and Neighborhood’s important role in the history of Japanese streetwear.
The END. x adidas x Neighborhood “Neighborhood F.C.” collection will launch online via END. on 26 June.
