Pairing up for their first ever apparel collection together, Nike and ACRONYM have dropped a range that features several football-inspired pieces, mixing the sport label’s performance-wear with ACRONYM’s technical expertise.

Nike and ACRONYM founder Errolson Hugh already share a strong history, and now they build upon their long-standing collaborative relationship by coming together for the first-ever Nike x ACRONYM apparel collection. Our attention is instantly drawn to the obvious influence of jersey culture, with two football-style shirts included in the range. Featuring custom ACRONYM graphics and highly functional apparel pieces, Hugh's taken the idea of classic Nike sportswear and infused his own evocative elements into them.

Among the wider collection are the two football shirts, one white, one black, and both made from 100% recycled polyester fibres. The designs feature a woven crest and silicone ACRONYM wording in the sponsor slot. The wider collection includes work from Japanese graffiti artist NESM and typographer David Rudnick.

The apparel collection is also joined by a new ACRONYM x Nike Blazer Low, which arrives in two colourways, “Black” and “Night Maroon”. Both colorways sport custom ACRONYM logos across their tongue, liner and heel, with this patterned branding taking inspiration from camouflage designs.
