Paying homage to all things France ’98, Cult Kits has produced a limited collection called the ’98 Dreamers Collection, and it celebrates the World Cup attire of England as they entered the 1998 tournament.

The good folk at Cult Kits share our appreciation for a good looking shirt, and particularly those that encapsulate the ‘90s – a golden period for kit design, and so it’s here that they once again turn for their latest capsule collection. Entitled the ‘98 Dreamers Collection, the limited edition capsule focuses on attention to details that were once on display throughout the training, bench and match wear items provided to Glenn Hoddle’s men in the summer of 1998 in France.

Celebrating the wild and vibrant patterns that covered the training shirts, the iconic drill sweat tops and the embroidered details on the match day kits, Cult Kits have designed items that will take you straight back to 1998. The limited collection includes an England long sleeved away shirt, training shirt, training joggers and drill top. Each item pays homage to the look of the squad and staff of the time, which was copied across the footballing adoring nation in 1998.

And it doesn’t stop with England. To complement the collection, Cult Kits have also produced a special shirt commemorating the tournament hosts. The France ‘98 tribute design once again celebrates the details and look of the ‘98 original, with the addition of the laces from the 1996 version… just because…!

France ‘98 goes down as probably our favourite World Cup, for one reason, the kits!” Explained David Jones, CEO at Cult Kits. “The England away was a triumph along with all the other gear the players and coaching staff wore, so it only felt right to use the fashion and imagery of the time to create this special collection.
