Palace & Umbro Link Up For Football-Infused Collection

Exactly 10 years after their first collaboration and the first one the Skate brand ever did, Palace and Umbro are back together for a small capsule collection, which draws on the iconic shapes of the England Italia ’90 lineup.

England have had many iconic kits over the years, but no sets resonate quite as well as that of the Three Lions’ wardrobe for Italia ’90, which hit all the right notes and now exist as timeless pieces that encapsulate a generation of football. So it’s no surprise that the base design is so often drawn upon as inspiration, and sure enough, that’s where Palace Skateboards glided to for their latest collaboration with Umbro, creating a small and perfectly formed pitch/pub-ready line of football tops in various glorious colours, rounded out with a drill top and shorts.

Available in Vermillion, Geranium Pink, Florida Keys, Dahlia purple and Neutral Gray, the short-sleeved tops feature a cracked Ice jacquard pattern overlaid with a digital print. The contrast black flat knit rib collar is tipped with two colours and features a ticking stripe, Cotton insert with buttons. Sleeves are finished with a Palace branded tape at the cuffs. A 1990’s Umbro logo and a Place embroidered logo sign off the product across the chest.

The classic 1990’s-styled colour-block, panelled Drill top is made from garment washed 100% cotton and features a rib insert at the neckline as well as elasticated waist and sleeve cuffs. A matching Drill short completes the look. The Drill top and shorts are available in Dark Navy/Blue Heaven.

The Palace x Umbro collection will be available from 18 November at palaceskateboards.com
