Los Angeles-based streetwear brand MENACE has partnered with LA Galaxy for a seven-piece capsule collection, which includes three t-shirts, sweatpants, a hoodie and a zip-up jacket in both men’s and women’s sizes.
The LA Galaxy x MENACE capsule collection continues to bridge the gap of sub-cultures that make Los Angeles a unique and globally recognised city. Chief amongst the collection is a striking anthem jacket, which boasts an iconic retro Galaxy look, fused with the Menace logo, sublimated and repeating throughout. It’s joined by a varsity jacket that features stylised dual branding in navy and gold.
“The product and collaboration with MENACE is a perfect marriage of soccer and streetwear in Los Angeles,” said LA Galaxy Chief Content Officer Will Misselbrook. “We have been working on this project with MENACE for over a year now and we’re thrilled to finally share it with LA Galaxy fans and streetwear culture as a whole.”
“It’s an honour to have the LA Galaxy organisation put their trust in a Latino kid from Southeast LA to tell the story of the most storied franchise in league history,” said Steven Mena, Founder of MENACE. “I’m extremely excited to give the Galaxy fans a glimpse of our collection. The Galaxy have set the tone for what an MLS organisation should strive for and I hope our MENACE collaboration does the same for the projects that come after us.”
The LA Galaxy x Menace collection goes on-sale on menacelosangeles.com on Friday, 28 July at 12 noon PT.
