PPRN Seoul Pay Homage To Classic Fulham Design With 'Pizza Lover' Shirt

Pizza-fuelled South Korean Football and Sub-culture brand Pepperoni Seoul return with another shirt that combines its two passions of pizza and football, this time paying homage to the Fulham’s 01/02 ‘PIZZA HUT’ Home Jersey.

Pepperoni Seoul love tow things above all else: football and pizza. While they have ventured away from that specific food group in the past, focus once again returns to the Italian staple, with the ‘Pizza Lover’ jersey. It follows on from the dual jersey drop from June 2022, which the brand used to voice their staunch opposition to pineapple on pizza, presented using a design that was inspired by classic Newcastle United shirts of the mid-90s. And this time it’s a Fulham classic that gets the treatment, though there's no political statements against any fruits this time...

If you're asked to think of a pizza football shirt, then chances are that if you can remember any, Fulham's 01/02 shirt may be one that comes to mind, probably because of the 'Pizza Hut' sponsor that adorned the chest. Pizza Hut only sponsored Fulham for that one season, but the popularity of the adidas-produced kit lasted well beyond that campaign, taking on an iconic status for Cottagers fans. And so it makes sense that it became the inspiration for Pepperoni Seoul's latest ode to pizza, which comes with a bespoke crest, and a "Pepperoni" graphic mocked up to represent the Pizza Hut logo.

The shirt was shot in what Pepperoni Seoul believe is the best pizza shop in South Korea, Pizza Turtles, presented through a lookbook and video. One for Fulham and pizza fans.
