Ahead of their Champions League group stage game against RB Leipzig, Manchester City jetted off from England in their latest collection from DSquared2.
DSquared2 have been dressing Manchester City out for their travels across Europe since 2017, and for their sixth year they continue to elevate the sports casual vibe, with the squad heading off for Leipzig in their latest collection. While AC Milan and Off-White have been championing the varsity jacket look, DSquared2 have gone down a similar varsity-inspired theme, subbing out the jacket for a cardigan.
The cardigan comes in a navy base tone, with “DS” branding on the left chest. Further branding appears on the left hand side of the front, while a Manchester City callout features on the left arm, looking like it’s been lifted straight off that controversial third shirt design from the 21/22 season. But the standout feature of the design is the player name and number set on the back, presented as if it were a player jersey. We mentioned AC Milan’s partnership with Off-White already, and that collab was ahead of DSquared2 in this execution with their formal suits last season.
No word on the Manchester City x DSquared2 23/24 collection being able for retail just yet.
