Arsenal Release 'Invincibles' Collection In Celebration Of Unbeaten Season

Casting the mind back to one of the greatest achievements in Premier League history, Arsenal have released the Invincibles Clothing Collection, celebrating 20 years since their unbeaten 03/04 season.

Few stories from the Premier League can stand up to Arsenal’s unbeaten season: Leicester City winning the league against all odds, perhaps the trebles of both Manchester United and City. But Arsenal’s was such an achievement that it’s recognised well beyond the English top flight. They went a record 49 consecutive top-flight league games without defeat between May 2003 and October 2004, surpassing the 42-match previous high set by Nottingham Forest between November 1977 and December 1978. In completing this remarkable run, the Gunners also recorded an unbeaten top-flight league season, only equalled by Preston North End – who went a 22-game season without losing in 1888/89.

It was a moment that birthed a mindset that is ingrained in Arsenal football club – no matter what happens, that achievement can never be taken away. 20 years on, and the club has released a clothing collection in celebration of the Invincibles. The range sees a varsity jacket, bomber jacket, hoodies, sweaters, tees, pants, hats and other accessories presented in monotone greys and blacks, with the stylised “A”, number 49 and “Invincibles” wording featuring prominently throughout.
