South Korean Creative Collective, Over The Pitch continue to keep their beverage game strong, this time with a collaboration with Guinness. The collection sees a pair of contrasting jerseys presented in the drink brand’s iconic colour palette lining up alongside a wider apparel collection.

Last week, Over The Pitch revealed a collaborative collection with Coca-Cola, infusing the apparel with some serious nostalgia born of the shapes and shapes used. Now, all the way from Dublin to Seoul, Over The Pitch continue the beverage theme for their latest collaboration, which this time is with iconic Irish stout-beer brand, Guinness. The collection is headlined by a pair of jerseys (home and away?), which arrive in a split of the drink’s instantly identifiable colours.

Guinness has to be one of the most visually recognisable drinks in the world, thanks to its almost unique black body and creamy off-white head (that plus some of the most memorable TV ad campaigns in history from back in the day, presented on the whole in black and white – if you’ve not seen them, look them up). And so for this collection with Over The Pitch, it makes sense that it arrives in a split of black and off-white.

The templates of the shirts are the same, with pinstripes running throughout the bodies of both and gold accents embellishing the polo collar and cuffs. The Over The Pitch logo sits on the traditional branding slot on the right of the chest, while the Guinness Harp logo serves as the club crest. The word ‘Guinness’ then sits in the sponsor slot, far more noticeable in gold on the off-white shirt, while the tonal execution on the black shirt makes for a clean look that shimmers when it catches the light. The two shirts carry the number 59 on the reverse as a nod to Guinness’s 1759 beginnings in Dublin, Ireland.

Following on from the jerseys, the collection is completed by a dual branded hoody in black and a classically designed scarf.
