Drawing inspiration from and paying homage to the home shirt from the 1999/00 season, Genoa FC have revealed a new special edition fourth shirt from Kappa, which will be worn in the match against Frosinone on 30 March.
Genoa have been one of the teams to have seriously benefitted from Kappa’s incredible output over the last few seasons, and on the back of their special 130th anniversary kit and their recent lifestyle ‘Street Collection’ they now get a new fourth shirt, which is inspired by the 1999-2000 home shirt. The new shirt reinterprets the original in a contemporary manner, making it as much a lifestyle option as it is a performance piece. Again though, all about that Kappa banda riding down the full length of the long-sleeve version...
The front of the jersey proudly displays the club's crest and sponsor, on the traditional red and blue split, while golden accents also feature on the collar and cuffs, tying in with the Kappa banda. The inserts transition from blue to yellow, while the matching shorts are red, echoing one of the identity colours of the longest-running football club on the national scene. Kappa previously sponsored Genoa in the late 1990s, then from 2019 to 2022, and most recently, from the 2023/24 season.
