Umbro & Slam Jam Drop SS24 “Penalty Culture” Capsule

Iconic sportswear label, Umbro, who this year are celebrating their 100th anniversary, reunite with Italian Streetwear pioneers, Slam Jam, for the latest edition of the duo’s “Penalty Culture” collection.

Arriving as a much anticipated sequel to the 2023 drop, Umbro and Slam Jam are back together once more, bringing us another instalment of their terrace culture-inspired line, “Penalty Culture.” The latest drop in Umbro’s 100th anniversary year, the collection seeks to explore the Double Diamond’s football DNA through the lens of street style, and that ethos is reflected within the collection, which blends football and street codes through match day essentials.

England kits are once again a driving force behind the designs, with the collection revisiting classic Umbro styles updated with a duo-tone check patterns and printed kits. Stand-out items include a masked check anorak, the now iconic masked hoodie, and a jersey inspired by England’s 2006 Home kit. That one sees the base colour switched from white to black, with that signature St. George's cross that sat on the shoulder mirrored on both.

The collection is distributed by Slam Jam and immediately available from selected retailers across the world.
