Following an early preview at Paris Fashion Week back in January, Reebok LTD and Botter have officially revealed their new collaborative collection for Spring/Summer 24, which arrives as a tribute to the different cultures and the connections between the living and the spirits, the earth, the land, and various bodies of water.

Paris Fashion Week is always a great place to get a flavour of what the year has in store, and now we get delivery on one of the highlights from this year's show in a football-fashion sense at least, with the Reebok LTD, the premium range of the renowned sportswear brand Reebok, and Botter, the Carribean couture brand by Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh, presenting their first collaboration for Spring/Summer 24.

Celebrating the colours, energy and spirit of the Caribbean Couture, the Botter x Reebok LTD Spring/Summer 24 collection delivers on the promise of PFW, fusing Reebok’s sporting heritage with the essence of a summery vibe of sun, sand and sea.

Unashamedly mining Reebok’s rich archive in football, the collection features trainer jackets and football shirts that sit slightly different than usual around the body to challenge the balance of the silhouette.

Inspired by the movement of football, the collaboration is celebrating the artistic approach in sports, more particularly football, creating in the campaign an unintentional choreographed dance, capturing athletes' acrobatic movements at the beach.

While the football shirts capture attention from an apparel perspective, the Botter x Reebok LTD Energia Bo Kèts sneakers are football nostalgia recreated for a contemporary audience by conceptually combining the aesthetics of soccer and climbing through their naturally overlapping elements. The new execution features stitches in the moulded recesses of the design with additional padding to imitate the quilting of vintage Reebok football boots, while the deconstructed collar of the previous iteration has been changed to a stitch and turn construction to bring the shoes closer to their roots in football. And then there’s the fold-over tongue, complete with underside strap ... all the rage this year.
